Clinical Observation of Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor Promoting Wound Healing after Circumcision
Objective : To investigate the affects of basic fibroblast growth factor used for wound healing after circumcision.
Methods : 342 patients who would be circumcised were randomly divided into two groups. The observation group (172 cases) patients were given the basic fibroblast growth factor evenly spread wound when the operation were completed, and also applied daily dressing. Basic fibroblast growth factor was not used in the controI group (170 cases). The average healing time and flat rate of wound were observed.
Results : Two groups of average healing time and flat rate of wound were significant difference (P<0.05), the observation group was better than the control group.
Conclusion : The basic fibroblast growth factor can accelerate wound healing circumcision and inhibit scar formation.
